Refund policy
We want you to love what you receive. If something isn't right, we're here to help.
Return Window
You may return any item purchased on byidiom.com within 14 days of the delivery date.
Eligibility
To be accepted, all returned items must be:

Unworn, unwashed, and unaltered

In their original condition with all tags attached

Returned in original packaging
Items showing signs of wear, damage, alteration, or that have been exposed to perfume, smoke, or other scents will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender at their expense.
How to Return

Email us at care@byidiom.com with your order number and the item(s) you wish to return.

We will confirm eligibility and provide the return address within one business day.

Pack your item securely in the original packaging, including a copy of your order confirmation inside the parcel.

Ship your return using a tracked service. We recommend DHL or FedEx.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in the case of a faulty or incorrectly dispatched item.

Please mark your parcel clearly as “Returned Goods — No Commercial Value” on the customs declaration form. This is required for international shipments returning to Israel.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will process your refund within 5–7 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable. For orders shipped on a DDU basis (duties not collected at checkout), any import duties or taxes paid locally are not refunded by IDIOM — these are collected by your national customs authority and are outside our control. You may be entitled to reclaim them directly from your customs authority by submitting proof of return and re-export. We are happy to provide documentation to support your claim upon request.
Exchanges
To request an exchange, please contact us before sending your return and we will check availability. If the requested size is available, we will reserve it for you pending receipt of your return.
For a different style or colour, please return your item for a refund and place a new order.
Faulty Items
If you receive a faulty or incorrectly dispatched item, please contact us immediately at care@byidiom.com with your order number and photographs of the issue. We will arrange a prepaid return label and replace or refund the item in full.
Pre-Orders
IDIOM operates on an intentional production model. Some styles are offered as pre-orders, meaning we confirm production only once sufficient demand exists. This allows us to make precisely what is needed — no excess, no waste.
By placing a pre-order, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Pre-orders are conditional on IDIOM confirming production within 3 weeks of your order date.

If production is confirmed, your order will be fulfilled and dispatched within the estimated timeframe shown on the product page at the time of purchase.

If production does not proceed — for example, because minimum order volume was not reached — your order will be cancelled and you will receive a full refund to your original payment method within 5 business days of the cancellation notice.

You will be notified by email of the production decision no later than 3 weeks from your order date.

Pre-orders may be cancelled by the customer at any time before production is confirmed, for a full refund.
We charge your payment method at the time of placing a pre-order. If you have questions about a pre-order, please contact us at care@byidiom.com with your order number.
EU customers: the right of withdrawal described below applies once production is confirmed and your order is dispatched. If production does not proceed and your order is cancelled by IDIOM, you will receive a full refund without needing to exercise withdrawal rights.
EU Customers — Right of Withdrawal
If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 21 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason, in accordance with EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU).
To exercise this right, please notify us before the 21-day period expires by emailing care@byidiom.com with your order number.
Unlike our standard returns, when you exercise your EU right of withdrawal IDIOM will refund the original purchase price including your standard outbound shipping costs. Return shipping costs remain your responsibility unless the item is faulty or incorrectly dispatched. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving your returned item.
Australian Customers — Consumer Guarantees
If you are located in Australia, our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality.
Nothing in this returns policy limits or excludes your rights under the ACL. If you believe you have received a faulty or misdescribed item, please contact us at care@byidiom.com and we will resolve it promptly.
